The Bolton family deeded the lot for 950 NW Fowler Street to HFH in July, 2006.

Work on the site started in August, 2006 with the ground being cleared of timber. The slab was poured in January and the walls and roof were completed to “dry-in” by June. With the help of volunteers and professionals, we plan to have the house completed by July 2008.

A group of 7 Habitat Volunteers met early in the week to cut and assemble form boards that were to be used for pouring the concrete slab. Approximately a dozen Volunteers met Saturday morning (the coldest day of the year) to start digging the footers and setting forms.

This home was built by 96 volunteers with 3,066 hours.
